Music Without Borders
It is the artistic and social project of CUMBRES in Madrid, Spain, that connects art, multicultural representation, and social transformation.
In collaboration with UNHCR Spain, Cumbres, through Music Without Borders, brings together children, young people, and adults from diverse backgrounds who are refugees, forcibly displaced, seeking international protection, or stateless, to develop choral and orchestral experiences that raise awareness, heal, and represent their experiences through artistic expression.
Mission
Vision
To create safe, inclusive and transformative musical spaces where people in situations of refuge, forced displacement, request for international protection or statelessness, find community, expression and artistic development.
To establish a professional orchestra and choir with an international reach, comprised of artists from multiple nationalities. A platform offering real opportunities for artistic and professional development that connects with like-minded organizations in Europe, Latin America, and other regions.
